Kajol wishes mother Tanuja on her 80th birthday, shares a heartfelt video of the legendary actress

Veteran Actress Tanuja celebrates her 80th birthday on Saturday. To commemorate Tanuja, her daughter, actress Kajol penned a heartfelt birthday wish for her and shared a video where she said, “Happy eightieth birthday, mom. I can never thank you enough for everything you’ve taught me by example and still continue to do so today. I love you to bits and pieces.”

Sharing the video, Kajol captioned, “Eight decades of love, wisdom, and laughter! Happy Birthday to my incredible Mom!”

On Instagram, Kajol shared a video that featured some exclusive and never-seen-before clips of Tanuja from her past interviews. In one of the clips, Tanuja talks about her upbringing in the film industry, saying, “I was born and bred and brought up in this film industry, for me this is family.”

Tanuja is the daughter of the renowned Bollywood actor Shobna Samarth and the producer Kumarsen Samarth. Tanuja gained prominence for her performances in both Hindi and Bengali cinema. Among her notable contributions are outstanding portrayals in films such as Memdidi (1961), Deya Neya (1963), Chand Aur Suraj (1965), Baharen Phir Bhi Aayengi (1966), Jewel Thief (1967), and many more.

Tanuja was last seen in Modern Love Mumbai.
