Shah Rukh Khan pushed for the Alia Bhatt reference in Jawan, reveals dialogue writer
Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan has been garnering quite the buzz since its release. The Atlee directorial also features Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Sanya Malhotra and others. As the film’s dialogues go viral, dialogue writer Sumit Arora has revealed a hit line that SRK insisted on.
As per reports on a leading news portal, the Alia Bhatt reference in Jawan was left in the script after Shah Rukh Khan pushed for it in spite of the dialogue writer’s apprehension. The line in question is where SRK says, “Chahiye toh Alia Bhatt” in the film.
Shah Rukh Khan reportedly believed the dialogue would resonate with fans and it also added to the trailer of the film.
Earlier, it was revealed another of the film’s lines, “Bete ko hath lagane se pehle, baap se baat kar,” wasn’t in the initial script of Jawan. However, it was added at the last minute and became a fan-favourite.
