Yasir Hussain awarded by another International Award

Yasir Hussain, actor, director and host of The Pakistan Showbiz Industry, has won the second international award.

Pakistani film ‘Javed Iqbal, The Untold Story of a Serial Killer’ has won the ‘Best Actor Male Jury Mention Feature Film’ at the DC South Asian Film Festival.

Earlier this year, Yasir Hussain had earlier won the Best Actor award at the UK South Asian Film Festival for the same film.

The film ‘Javed Iqbal’ was also screened at the premiere of the 11th DC South Asian Film Festival this year, which started on November 1 in Washington DC and continued till November 8.

Javed Iqbal not only sexually harassed and killed about 100 children in 1998 and 1999, but he also destroyed the bodies of these children by pouring them in acid to destroy the evidence against him.

In the film, famous actor Yasir Hussain plays the lead role while Ayesha Omar plays the important role of police inspector. The film had its world premiere at the UK Film Festival in May.
